EMP dealing with the threat

The HEMP  is a by-product of a nuclear explosion expressed in powerful pulse radiation that covers a large area.
The interaction between the high field and the elements of any electronic system can cause damage to the system, as well as permanent or temporary disruption of system operation.

Dolev have the experience to deals with shielding sulotions for High Altitude EMP (HEMP), that is, an electromagnetic pulse generated as a result of a nuclear event outside the atmosphere at altitudes of about 30 to 500 km. In such an event there is no effect of the nuclear explosion (there is no top, thermal wave or radioactive fallout) the only effect manifested in the explosion is the EMP. This effect does not cause damage to human tissues and therefore some consider such an event a legitimate explosion.

Dolev focus on technical implications for civilian infrastructure such as power and water control centers – power plants, financial centers – banks and stock exchanges, airports – aircraft and virtually any civilian system whose main activity is based on electronic systems.

Dolev group cooperation with one of the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects experience

Shielding or hardening is a protection concept that uses an overall shield to encompass the entire
facility. all conducting penetrations and all apertures are protected at the shield.
The intent is to keep all HEMP fields and HEMP—induced transients outside the protected volume.
we intended to increase awareness of the EMP effect.
to have more information on the levels of threat to electronic equipment as well as the various hardening principles and techniques.
